A little bit about the owner and the origination of Miel The Label : My name is Kaitlyn Guevara, and I graduated college with an Associates Degree in Business Management. I am also a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Georgia. Besides that, fashion & entrepreneurship has always been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I remember picking out my outfits making sure they matched with the right shoes and the right accessories every night before school ever since I was old enough to do so! I also remember starting my own little businesses as a little girl to make and sell bows, bracelets, DIYing & reworking clothes, and more! I have always loved keeping up with the trends, what's in style, shopping, thrifting and creating something new, and letting fashion be a creative outlet to express myself in. So, it was never a question of whether or not I wanted to start my own clothing store one day, only a matter of when. I give all the glory to God, because this dream is now a reality and I couldn't think of a more perfect time.

The inspiration for my store's name came from the Bible. The word 'honey' is referenced all throughout the Bible and to me, symbolizes God's sweetness towards us through his providence, grace, gifts, & His Word. My relationship with God is the most important thing in my life, and it only made sense to grab inspiration from the one who put this desire on my heart in the first place. So, 'honey' it was & it translates to 'miel' in Spanish. I am Mexican-American, so I chose the Spanish translation, 'miel,' because it was also important for me to tie in my roots.

Thank you all so much for your support thus far!
